Since 1985, Canterra Developments Corp. has been committed to developing, and managing commercial properties as well as the assembly and development of residential lands in the Metro Edmonton region.

One of Canterra’s core properties is the centrally located Canterra Centre at 109th Street and Jasper Avenue.  It is a thriving, vibrant and very successful shopping centre.

Immediately next door at 11010 Jasper Avenue is Canterra Suites Hotel, another quality, re-development designed to specialize in the extended stay hospitality industry. 

A block further to the west is 11150 Jasper Avenue. A 10 storey, totally redeveloped, sustainable green building and is one of three major properties on Jasper Avenue owned and managed by Canterra and ready for full tenancy. The utilization of sustainable Design (commonly referred to as Green Building design following the concepts developed by LEEDS), are some of the key redevelopment considerations that were made in the planning and this project.

Canterra has a major, long term vested interest in this up market section of Jasper Avenue  and has plans for a further office tower on the property next to11150 Jasper Avenue.

Canterra is also a major land developer in the Metro Edmonton region. Canterra’s land development division continues to be a successful entity developing high quality communities in and around the Metro Edmonton area including Kingswood and Regency Heights Estates in St. Albert and Castlebrook, a multi-lake community located in northwest Edmonton and The Woods in west Edmonton.  All are very successful ongoing communities.  Canterra also has plans to activate another major residential community in northwest Edmonton called Canossa.
